hi chetan, it all depends on what category you belong to and what reservation you have, whether you have state quota or not ,if you belong to ST you have very slim chances of making it into a govt college somewhere, but i would suggest that aim for 580 plus, its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it.NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018. NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims,and jipmer.The exam pattern is as follows:-

 

physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks

chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks

 

and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck

If you are from general category for must have at least 50 % marks in PCB in 12th standard and for SC / ST it's 40 %. 

Fee for government colleges is around 8k to 80k per year.
For private medical colleges it's highly variable again and on average it's from 4 lac to 10 lac per year.

Talking about your eligibility to opt for a college with 50% in neet - yes you are eligible for opting for a medical seat in one of the private colleges (which are often now call universities, affiliated by MCI) .
THE RULES LAID DOWN, THAT IF YOU ARE SCORING 50% THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO OPT FOR A SEAT IN THOSE PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS, NEEDLESS TO SAY YOU NEED A MUCH BETTER RANK TO GET ADMITTED TO GOVERNMENT INSTITUTION.
However, you might have to wait till the third round of counselling where in online portals the rank list of those eligible to get admitted to the various private institutes is displayed on the counselling site.
Depending on your position in that list, you can avail your seat in any private medical college.
However, the street private Institutions all colleges, retain their autonomy to admission comma of the reserved private quota seats and it might depend on their admission policy is as well as the affordability of students who are opting to get into those seats.
And yes regarding the fee structures you already mentioned, it would be 22 lacs per year commerce OC for 4 and a half years it would amount to 99 lacs.

      Coming to the question, Yes it's Possible, Well in that case you can opt for private[ ( deemed-to-be-university) as per New rule] colleges.

Remember the state counseling for seat allotment is based on the state merit list. It's left to the students to choose,depending on fee structure and other criteria.

Only in the 3rd counseling the private institutions issue online applications and conduct the selection process based on the rank list formed by the NEET Marks of the students who had applied.

Since MBBS is 4.5 yrs.

Each yr you should pay suppose as you said 22 lakh

22*4=88 lakhs + 22/2 for 1/2 yr =TOTAL 99 lakhs
