No, It's not required to take Computer science in 11th for preparing in Govt jobs . If you carefully see the banking exam syllabus for Govt sectors , there are mainly .. verbal , logical and quantitive section .You need to practice those sections at the prelims stage .

Well, it will be an advantage for you to take commerce stream if you are serious to enter in banking sector. In mains exam, finance related knowledge are required .

So, with regard of you're query. In order to get a job in a government bank, you should study commerce in 11th grade. You would have to study all of the disciplines that are required for banking positions in the commerce stream. Students interested in Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking, and other related fields often choose Commerce with Mathematics as their major. You also

can take computer science via taking MPC group, but it will be tough to read subjects related to commerce.
