Well, this year in april jee main ,NTA has removed the age limit .Well, you will not face much problem if you get nit or IIT but when you goes to colleges,college will ask you for gap certificate.SO, this is only things otherwise 1 year doesn't make any difference in placement except some of the small companies.

Hi Detsung,
If you have passed your Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent course and have a pass certificate for that ,you can apply for JEE Mains exam. It doesn't matter which year you passed and recently the abe limit has also been removed from the eligibility criteria.
