Dear Shweta, there is no such cut-off marks for AFMC. Let me explain step wise.

  • Candidates who have appeared for NEET can apply for the admission in AFMC.
  • AFMC calls top scoring(in NEET, among the applications they receive) 1200 boys and around 300 girls (for their 105 seats for boys and 25 seats for girls) for the interview at PUNE.
  • At AFMC you need to stay for 2 days for

               a.) Computer Based Test - 20 Marks

               b.) Interview - 50 Marks

  • Final merit list is prepared according to final score -

FINAL SCORE = NEET SCORE/4 + CBT Score                                        + INTERVIEW SCORE

As you can see your NEET score will hardly matter at the step of getting called upon for Interview. It is divided by 4 to get added to final score.

So, even if your score is 10-20 marks less in NEET, make sure you score well in CBT and Interview which will compensate your NEET score.

Last year the cut off for boys and girls was 551.

All the best

Hope this helps
