I like to know about scope this field acquire and what we basically deal with while associated with this field
Okay Nitin, let me tell you from experience and from what I've heard from my Seniors who are currently working in the field. In this answer I'll be focusing on the conditions regarding the mining operations in India.
First, you'll be living in a remote settlement away from the city. Unless you are lucky/ have contacts, and you're posted in the headquarters.
Secondly, the conditions depend a lot on the mine itself. But in general, the Metal mines have better working conditions than Coal mines. And no matter what, don't join a Cement plant. It's hazardous for health.
In private organisations like Vedanta, you'll earn your pay. You'll have to work hard. But in government run mines, bootlicking is prominent. And the work is done at a snail's pace.
All in all, the mining sector is not good for you if you're a go getter. If all you want is a life with fixed padded salary, it's okay. Many of my Seniors have left or are looking to quit the mining industry for one or all of the above reasons
