Hello,

MBBS Admission :

  • With 200 marks in NEET, it is unlikely to get admission in an MBBS course at government medical colleges, especially in highly competitive states.
  • Private medical colleges may offer admission, but the fees will be much higher.
  • Cutoffs for MBBS vary, but a score of 200 generally falls below the cutoff range for most top medical colleges.

BAMS Admission :

  • BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) has lower cutoffs compared to MBBS.
  • A score of 200 might be sufficient for BAMS in some government or private Ayurvedic colleges, depending on the state and category.

Hope it helps !

Hello,

A score of 200 in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) may be sufficient for admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) for candidates in reserved categories. However, it's unlikely to be accepted for admission to MBBS for general category candidates, you can consider a few private colleges though.

Hello

Admission to MBBS or BAMS with 200 marks in NEET depends on various factors like the category you belong to the difficulty level of the exam and the cutoff for that particular year .

For MBBS :

With 200 marks , it might be challenging to secure a seat in a government medical college specially in the general category . However, if you belong to a reserved category ( SC , ST , OBC or EWS ) you may have a better chance depending on the cutoff .

For BAMS :

The chances of getting admission to BAMS are higher with 200 marks , as the cutoff is generally lower than that for MBBS . However, the availability of seats also depends on the state and the specific college .

To get a clearer idea , you can check the previous year cutoff for both MBBS and BAMS in the state or colleges you are targeting.

If you are a general category candidates, then it is very difficult to get admission to any of reputed institute except private, for which you need to pay more. But if you belong to reserved categories, you might get admission to some of the lower level institutions.
