So, with regard of query. Yes, you are qualified for admission to the second year of the B.Tech. in electronic and telecommunications program since you have a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering.

The requirements for the lateral entry(entrance examination for entering to B.TECH) exam are: you must have completed a diploma program in engineering, technology, or pharmacy with at least a 50 percent grade. you must hold at least a B.Sc. in a scientific discipline with mathematics as a prerequisite.
