Hi Himanshu, good question to clear your doubts before main exam.I would suppose you not to write anything on the scribble pad before the commencement of the exam as the invigilators would not found it correct.Instead  if you really want to write formulas then you take 5 minutes after the exam has started to write them on scribble paper.And dont waste your time and the scribble pad in writing too many formulas on the pad.I hope this would be helpful.

The scribble pads will be provided shortly before the examination begins. So you probably would not have much time to note down the formulae, but if you do get time, you can write down the formulae as long as you do not talk to any of the other candidates and do not ask others to confirm or to tell you the particular formula.



To be more sure, ask your invigilator as soon as you get your scribble pad.

For JEE Advance exam to help the students authorities provides the scribble pads to do rough works.The main purpose of giving the scribble pad is to do rough work only and anything written in the scribble pads is not considered for the evaluation.

Hello student as per experts you can write any formula any fix values or anything but after the exam start before that I request you to write nothing on the scribble pad. I request you to mumbling in your mind those formulas so that you can't forget it and exat at the moment the paper start plz note down the formulas on which you have doubt that may be I'll forget it during the paper.

The scribble pad is to be used only for rough work. The scribble pad is one that is provided by the authorities during the examination. Whatever is written on the scribble pad will not be used for evaluation purpose. The scribble pad should be submitted to the invigilator once the test is over.

Make use of the space wisely and don't scribble any unwanted thing on the scribble pad.
