CLAT actually is a common entrance test for law aspirants for admission in various courses offered by National Law Universities across the country as well as other prestigious institutions which take admission in UG/PG law courses like BA.LLB, BBA.LLB, LLB, LLM etc. NLUs take admission on the basis of CLAT score only while other private institutions like Symbiosis, Indraprastha University, New Law College, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University etc. have their own entrance tests but they do take admission on the basis of CLAT scores as well. So from a law aspirant's point of view, CLAT is the most crucial exam which you definitely don't want to miss out on in any case.

Registration- You can online fill the form for CLAT and paying the registration fee of Rs. 4000 Examination mode- It was an online test earlier but this time, CLAT 2019 will be an offline test.
Duration- 2 hours
Exam paper pattern- CLAT question paper comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions in case of undergraduate and 150 Multiple Choice Questions in case of Postgraduate course examination respectively, divided into 5 sections as mentioned below along with the number of questions and marks assigned to each section:-

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised test for admission to 21 National Law Universities in India. The test is conducted by the 21 participating law schools in rotation. The test is taken after the higher secondary examination or the 12th grade for admission to integrated undergraduate programs in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Law (L.L.M) programs conducted by these law universities.
