Dear Vivek, CAT is the entrance examination for admission to 20 IIMs and over 1000 participating Institutions. If your target college is either an IIM or a Top B School, CAT is a mandatory examination. Having said that there are Institutions that consider other exams like SNAP,CMAT,XAT,ATMA, GMAT valid for admission to ABM Courses in their Colleges.
