For CBSE Class 10 board exams passing criteria are as follows :

Minimum Marks Required : 33% in each subject (both theory and internal assessment combined).

Subjects with Practical Components : Students must secure at least 33% in the theory exam and overall 33% including practical marks to pass.

If a student fails in one or two subjects , they can appear for compartment exams conducted by CBSE.
