CA is a correspondence course for which you need to enroll with ICAI.
CPT exam is first step after qualifying it you will have to appear in IPCC .After it you will have to undergo articleship training and finally appear in Final exam.

Hi Saurabh

In order to pursue CA in India, you will need to enrol yourself for the foundation course at ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). After completing four months of study period there, you can appear for CA CPT exam. Once you pass the foundation exam, you will be able to join second level, i.e. Intermediate level. After passing the Intermediate examination, you will be enrolled in the Final level of course.

If you wish, after 10+2, besides doing CA, you may also enrol yourself in an undergraduate programme of your choice. It will give you an added advantage of a degree and diversified knowledge. (Remember, it is just a suggestion and not mandatory).

You may get to know all about CA CPT exam conducted by ICAI from the link given below:

CA CPT – BY ICAI

Hope it will help!

All the best!
