Dear Aspirant,

This undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy relates health science with chemical science. This course involves the production of various drugs and medicines for the welfare of mankind. The duration of this course is four years where the students study about drugs and medicines, pharmaceutical engineering and medicinal chemistry.

Apart from Masters and M.B.A which is a common routes aspirants take in this field, there are other courses which you can opt for:

1) Post graduate diploma in Clinical Trial Management: This is a 10 month job oriented course that is in collaboration with leading hospitals like

ICRI- Medanta Hospital, Delhi campus

ICRI- Max Hospital, Deheradun

ICRI- NH Hospital, Bengaluru & Jaipur Campus

The Eligibility for the course is: MBBS/BAMS/BDS/BHMS/Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Graduates/B.Pharm/M.Pharm.

Graduates/ Post-Graduate Diploma In Clinical Research/Life sciences/ BioSciences with any of the following subjects-Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics and Biotech with min 50%.

2)Certificate course in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology is conducted by Symogen, a KPO, and can be obtained in 4 months.

3)Post graduate diploma in Pharmacovigilance- This is a one year course conducted by  The Faculty of Clinical Research, India.  This course has been approved by the Quality of Council, Government of India.

The Eligibility Criteria is:

A postgraduate or graduate degree in Bioscience/Life Sciences (with any of the following subjects: Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotech) with at least 50% marks in aggregate, A postgraduate or graduate degree with Chemistry as a subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate,A postgraduate or graduate degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences,A postgraduate or graduate degree in Medicine
