Hello,

D. Pharmacy course is a career-oriented program in the areas of pharmaceutical sciences. It introduces the students to the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science and prepares them with the necessary skill and academic knowledge to secure positions in retail pharmacies for pharmaceutical companies.

The selection process is of two type that is based on Merit and Entrance exam based. For entrance exams, there were Admission in D. Pharm. is done on the basis of entrance exams conducted by universities that offer this course or through state-level diploma entrance tests.

GPAT is a national level entrance examination for admission in various courses in Pharmacy. Many colleges prepare the merit lists on the basis of rank scored by the students in GPAT and subsequent group discussion and personal interview for the admission to D. Pharm.
