Admission to M.Pharm at Madurai Medical College
Madurai Medical College offers a 2-year full-time M.Pharm program with specializations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy , and Pharmaceutical Chemistry . To be eligible, your daughter must have a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/SCA/ST). If her degree is from outside Tamil Nadu, she will also need an eligibility certificate from Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University.

The application process is completely online via their official website. (http://www.tnmedicalselection.org) (http://www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in) She’ll need to upload her photograph (taken after Aug 1, 2024) with a placard, along with all required documents such as mark sheets, community certificate, Aadhaar card, etc. Incomplete applications or multiple submissions will be rejected.

Admission is based on B.Pharm merit and reservation policies. Counseling is conducted online, and 45 seats are available — 15 in each specialization. The total tuition fee is around Rs 1.19 lakh for the entire program, excluding hostel or other charges.
