Hello aspirant,

Well, CS mostly approaches on the theory or concepts related to computer while IT focuses on its applications. CS gives you opportunities to learn about the application related to computer but IT focuses on innovative use of the applications. CS is based on mathematics whereas in IT use of maths is limited to statics, programming, etc. Both are in demand now a days. There is no college which only offers IT but not CSE. When it comes to placements you can sit in both the branches if you have worked properly.

Hope it helped to clear your delimma.

There are quite same but difference is cs engineer design software and learn the basic of software while IT engineer enjoy installation of computer system i.e hardware parts.

Both are good but I would suggest you to go with your interest since most of the companies hires students according to their need
