Solution : The possible Venn diagram according to the given statements is as follows –

Let's analyse the conclusions –
Conclusion (I): Some monkeys are cats – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that the circles representing monkeys and cats overlap each other and have a part of their area in common. So, from this, it can be concluded that some monkeys are cats. Therefore, this conclusion follows.
Conclusion (II): No dog is a cat – From the Venn diagram, it is evident that the circle representing dogs completely lies inside the circle representing cats. So, from this, it can be concluded that all dogs are cats. Thus, this conclusion does not follow.
