Hi Nischal,

Iisc doen't participate in josaa counselling. For securing admission into Iisc, bangalore one needs to fill up the application form of the institute. The institute takes admission on the basis of jee, neet and kvpy. You need to secure a very good rank to be selected there.

Note- Last date to fill the application form of institute is 30.04.2019.

Hope it helps.

Hey nischal
Actually the last date of submission is 30.04.2019.Your kvpy final result will be out by that time. Also iisc bangalore offers only one ug programmewhich is BS(research) which includes all subjects plus a course in humanities.Again your percentile score is great, but according to previous year data only Top 250 students have been selected from general category. If you are a reserved category student then you can definitely up your chances as competition is quite less for reserved category students.

Hope it helps

One thing sir, we usually say for these top students that cut off went 250-300 rank(top 250) but it is highly probable that most of the students in top 250 rank in mains will also get a similar rank in.jee advance and they would like to join iits. Then how come cut off is 250 rank. Also how many seats are there in ug courses of iisc Banglore? Lastly can you recommend some of the best engineering, science& space tech colleges(government). Thank you!

Hey nishchal
Actually there are only 120 seats in Iisc, bangalore. The cutoff of top 250 is for general category,if you ate rrserved then you can be admitted with a rank of even 6000.Furthur there are three categories of kvpy sa,sx and sb through which students are admitted and also jee mains , advanced and neet.So usually seats are filled, but even if seats are not filled then iisc conducts spot admission to fill the seats in which lower ranks are preferred.

Furthur best college for engineering in india are

IIT'S
NIT'S AND
BITS PILANI

But the aerospace program of iit kanpur is the best.

Furthur  there are  research colleges which include 7 iiser(indian institute of scientific education and research) , whose total intake is 1200  students whose admission is done through kvpy, iisc bangalore, and one niser in bhubhaneshwar whose admission is done through NEST.

Hope it helps
