Do other state students have to wait till TN +2 results for applying at ANNA UNIVERSITY or they have different procedure of admission?

Anna University usually have TNEA Exam for other states students.
Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) is on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying exam (Class 12 or equivalent) conducted by Anna University for admissions to the undergraduate engineering programmes in the state.
