Dear Ashwin, you haven't mentioned the course that you want to study in Germany. IELTS is an English proficiency test which is mandatory to be cleared for admission in most of the Countries. Another test that is accepted is TOEFL. GRE score is accepted by some Universities in Germany. It is usually accepted as a yardstick for admission in Universities offering MS courses in Germany.
