Does careers 360 prediction of colleges( through gate) vary from internet opinions or more likely the same as in internet????

The chances are based on the previous year cut-off data. These chances give a student a fair idea of the possible colleges that he might get admission based on his/her rank or score.

I have never cared for the internet opinion. The predictions from Careers360 are based on official data. Anything less than that would be speculation and wrong. No one can accurately speculate as all IITs have their own parameters for their admissions. Only some one who is clued into the system will know this fact that the cutoffs are in fact made by the institutes. Only CCMT releases it for each round. You are most welcome to choose what you like - internet opinion or anything else. There is no compulsion about taking up predictions from Careers360.
