For the academic session of 2018-19 IIEST,Shibpur will be taking admission on basis of Jee Mains-
Paper 1 for B.tech  and for B.Arch the college is taking admissions on the basis of Jee Mains- Paper 2 .
50% seats are reserved for students coming from other states and 50% seats are reserved for the ones who are having domicile of West Bengal state.

Also , the students seeking admission must be a citizen of India .They should have appeared or Passed Higher Secondary Examination as per the Josaa Regulations(Minimum 75% criteria is applied here)

for b-tech qualify exam Jeemains paper -1.
for b-arch qualify exam Jeemains paper -2.

Hello,
It's a very reputed college with very good placement records from many years and hence the cutoff is a bit high.Like you can get branches like cse/it/ece at a score of 155-170 in jee mains.Although it depends on many factors like number of students appearing, level off questions, etc.you can checkout the below given link:
