At SRM University you can not get course in food technology but they provide a course in Food Processing which almost similar to Food Technology.
This is a Postgraduate course i.e MTech course. To get admission into this course, you need to appear in SRMJEE (PG) and secure a decent rank.
At undergraduate level, there is no food technology or food processing course available.
The courrses available at UG level at SRM are as follows -

For admission to SRM university at UG level you need to appear in SRMJEE (UG). The basic eligibility is that you must qualify class 12th with minimum 75% marks.

There is a department of Food Processing Engineering in SRM. The department offers Postgraduate course, Ph.D and Diploma in Craft Brewery.

• Postgraduate: The department's ranges of postgraduate programs include core courses as well as elective, independent study.
• Ph.D: The research work at the school includes such domains as innovative interface material, traffic-resistant pavement material.
• Diploma in Craft Brewery: The course duration is 6 months. Diploma program started in the academic year (2018-2019). Conducted by a joint collaboration between SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Prodeb Brewery Pvt. Ltd. Memorandum of Undertaking was made on 18th of April 2018 between Prodeb Brewery Technology Pvt Ltd (Prodeb) with SRM Institute Of Science And Technology, Kattankulathur.
