Does working on mistakes from tests and learning formulas along with all previous year questions done properly help getting good gate marks

Hello isha kanna

Generally the paper pattern in GATE 2019 has multiple choice questions and numerical answer type questions which has general aptitude questions and specific subject wise questions which has totally for 100 marks which is need to score in 3 hours duration.

Coming to your doubt, competative exam entering students genarally go for online mock test . So instead solving previous years papers can help you a lot as:

You can know the standards of the papers 

You can realise your own strengths and weakness

And also you can manage your time too

And working on mistakes from taking tests can definitely sharps your brain and gain knowledge.
