Downloaded books appear in the Google Play Books app's library . Once downloaded, a "Downloaded" icon will appear next to the book. If downloads don't appear, you need to make sure you're in the library and that you see the "Downloaded" icon next to the correct book. If the problem still occurs, close and reopen the app, or reinstall the Google Play Books app.
