Yes that won't be a problem. Only thing is you need to complete your final year before you will be joining any college in 2019 after giving CAT 2018.

Make sure you have more than 50% in 10th, 12th and graduation becuase that is the eligibility criteria for sitting in CAT exam. If you are called by any college for interview round after exam so they will definitely ask you the question for repeating your final. You make sure to prepare a proper answer for why you were not able to clear the final year in first time.

Now as you are going to start preparing for CAT 2018 so make sure you start with basics in each section. Fir quant you can refer some good books like Arun Sharma which is pretty good for attempting all level of questions and understanding the basics. For Verbal section you should start reading good novels by famous writers like Charles Dickens and newspapers. Also to improve your vocabulary start remembering 5 new words daily with their meaning and correct pronounciation and use them in your daily conversations so that you can memorize them properly. For RC section start reading passages and understand the thought process of author, communication way and the message it wants to deliver. This will help you in solving most of the questions.

Also start attempting online mock test and analyse them which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile. It will also help you in recognising your strength and weakness and work on it.

All the best!!

Appearing in CAT 2017 and get into a b-school when your results will be out in May 2018 is not at all a problem. Atleast 20% of freshers join college like you. MBA colleges starts from June month so there is no problem in late result.
