As far as Placements are concerned, situation in either of MIT Muzaffarpur and BCE Bhagalpur are equally bleak with a handful of companies lile Alstrom and most of the Mass Recruiters like TCS, Wipro, HCL visiting campus and offering recruitment to students from Department of Electrical Engineering.

As far as Infrastructure, Faculty and Residential Facilities are concerned, BCE Bhagalpur is slightly better than MIT Muzaffarpur and is perhaps one of the better Engineering Institutes in Bihar after IIT and NIT Patna. However, I would suggest you to prepare for GATE in your final year and move on to pursue Masters from Higher Technical Institutes for better career scope and placement prospects like Top IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani and so on.
