The Eligibility Criteria For NDA is given below :
Nationality:
- Candidate must be a cititzen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan
Age Limits:
- Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam
- NDA 1 - Students must have been born between 2nd July 1999 to 1st July 2002
- NDA 2 - Students must have been born between 2nd January 2000 to 1st July 2003
Qualification Criteria:
- For army wing candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam organised by state education board or university
- For Air Force and Naval of NDA - student should have cleared 12+ or equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics subjects
Physical Standards:
- Students should be medically fit as per the norms set by National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.
- Candidates shoould go through the medical examination organised by the Military Hospital after being recommended at the SSB.
The Eligibility for Visual is :
- The distance vision should be 6/6 in the better eye 6/9 in the worse eye. Myopia should not be more than 2.5 D and hypermetropiya not more than 3.5 D.
- The candidate should have good binocular vision.
- The color vision standard will be CP-III for Army.
- A candidate should be able to recognise red and green color.
- Candidates have gone laser surgery for correcction of refractive error are also not acceptable to defence services.
