Hello Candidate,

Here is a General method to calculate the reciprocal of a given number using the Newton iterative method-

1. Calculate an approximation for the reciprocal of the divisor (D) : Xi
2. Compute successively more accurate estimates of the reciprocal : (Xi,.........,Xj)
3. Compute the quotient by multiplying the dividend by the reciprocal of the divisor : Q = NXj , where j is the number of items iteration have been used.
