Hi aspirant,

The set of all possible values which qualify as inputs to a function is known as the domain of the function, or it can also be defined as the set of input values for which function is defined. Now coming to your question 1/log(2-x) will be defined when log(2-x)>0 because 1/0 is not defined. Also we know log1=0, log(-ve values) makes function undefined so the domain of function will be -infinity to 0.
