The eligibility standards for B.Tech. and B.E. programs are as follows

The qualifying examination for B.E. is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent exam recognized by the state/central government. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English should be a part of the candidate’s syllabus in the last two years. General Merit candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/ OBC candidates of Karnataka) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. An attempt in COMEDK UGET 2019 is sufficient to figure in the merit list.
