Yes, there is an entrance exam conducted for admission in the course. Ali Yawar Jung National Institute for the hearing handicapped conducts it's own entrance exam for admission in BASLP course.

For being eligible for admission and entrance exam you are required to pass your 10 + 2 class level board examination with physics chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects and must have a studied English also as a compulsory subject. You must have also scored at least 50% marks and 10 + 2 class level board examination. Your age must not have exceed 21 years.
