The college has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has also been accredited with “B” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). UPES offers admission in the BA LLB course through 3 methods, in which for CLAT Merit or L-SAT India Merit, aspirants should have a minimum 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th) and CLAT ranking in the range of 10,000 to 12,000 or L-SAT India score of more than 60 percentile. Aspirants will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited directly for GD and Interview if they score and rank in the mentioned range.
