While not an absolute rule for every institution, the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) in Maharashtra allows private, unaided colleges to charge a maximum of three times the regular (general) fee for seats under the Institutional Quota (also referred to as Management Quota).
Some colleges may attempt to charge fees exceeding this limit, so it's essential for students and parents to be aware of the permissible upper limit and report any instances of colleges demanding higher fees to the FRA.
