There is no such compulsory criteria of having studied specific subjects at 10+2 level for UGC NET, as its eligibility criteria is passed master's degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized university securing 55% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, candidates in the final year of graduation too are eligible to appky, there are a total of 81 subjects included in UGC NET, to know more details 3this,visit our page at https://competition.careers360.com/exams/ugc-net/amp , other than UGC NET there is CSIR NET which is specifically for science subjects as in the domai  of chemical science, biological science, mathematical science, physical science, earth science, so in case you have master's degree pertaining to any of these discipline with 55% aggregate for UR(50% for reserved categories), you can appear for CSIR NET, check out more details at https://competition.careers360.com/articles/csir-ugc-net/amp
