From one single cell formed 256 cells by mitosis. Here I say you an rule
2 is equal to the given cell. "n" means the number of mitosis cell division.
So, as the rule,
2=256
Or,2=2
Finally,n=8.
So 8 is the correct answer.

Hello aspirant,

one cells divide into two thats mitosis. Each of the two cell divide into four. After, all four cells divide into 8 cells.

n= number of total cells

How many cells require= n-1

256-1=255

Use this formula:-n=2^X

X= no. of generations.

256=2^8

so answer is 8.

I hope this helpful for you.
