For top nits you should get a rank within 60,000. If not scored that much, then you still have an opportunity if you are a homestate resident of some nit with very high homestate reservation. These nits are nit Sikkim, Agartala, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Pudduchery and Harmipur. You can get admission in them with even ranks in lakhs. But you have to be a homestate resident.
