Dear student,

Every year the pattern of jee advanced changes. You cannot expect or assume that in which pattern the question will be asked. Also the total marks always changes. Every year the total marks and patterns both vary.

So, it's quite difficult to assume the pattern or total marks for jee advanced. Also you can give jee advanced only after qualifying jee mains.

Last year in jee advanced, the exam has a concept of full, partial and zero marks.
In jee advanced 2020, paper 1 had single choice correct, multiple choice correct and numerical value answer type questions. And in paper 2 had multiple choice correct and numerical value answer type questions and integer type questions ( whose answers lies between 0 to 9 ).
And both the paper 1 and paper 2 were of 188 marks each.
