COMEDK is Engineering entrance exam conducted by VTU for admission in the colleges affiliated to it. It is state engineering entrance exam of Karnataka. Some colleges of other states also take admission through COMEDK.

The colleges in Bengaluru are quite better. And if you are not a very brilliant guy and are not damn sure that you will get IITs or NITs then you should apply for COMEDK. After all the exams its solely your decision to take admission in its colleges or not.

In my opinion you should keep it as a option for the admission as many good colleges in Bangaluru also take admissions through this only.

COMEDK UGET is a state-level exam conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) for admission to UG engineering courses at around 190 engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka.
