Hello !

So the difference in terms is :

Government -Is a body in which you have elected representatives which works for the welfare of its citizens.

Trust- Trust is when a person holds property for someone else. (Kisi aur ke liye tum kaam karre ho)

Society- when we talk about society in broader sense, collection of small small colonies forms a society. A society may have different customs, rules, regulations etc. Basically an association which works to achieve a purpose may be called a society.

But that does not happen.in case of government a government is a statutory body which works for its citizens.

Government-society:

Government works for welfare of societies. And societies are collection of individuals/families residing together at a place.
