Hello Aarti .

Neet is the national medical exam for Mbbs and other medical courses like ayurveda , homeopathy etc .

It is conducted by National testing agency (NTA).

For being qualified for NEET , you should have PCB in your +2 classes .

The selection in NEET is based on the cut off marks and ranks provided by the agency itself .

The colleges are then allotted on the basis of your ranks .

The government medical colleges are given to the highest rankers .

Hello Aarti!

The National Eligibility Entrance Test(NEET) is the entrance exam for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges and universities. The National Testing Agency(NTA) is in charge of conducting the test. Candidates who want to pursue medical must take physics, chemistry and biology(PCB) as compulsory subjects in their 12th class and must ensure to pass in these subjects. Marks obtained in mathematics is not taken into account for NEET eligibility. The NEET test take 3 hours and a candidate is required to answer 180 questions. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are the three sections of the exam paper. On the basis of the marks earned in the NEET undergraduate exam, an All India merit list of qualifying students is created. On the basis of scores earned, students get into various medical colleges throughout the country if they meet the eligibility criteria of marks required by college.

If you want to go for NEET exam in future, you can start preparing from 7th class. One must have a firm understanding of the fundamentals in order to pass any admission exam. You can start focusing by paying close attention to each and every topic that is being taught to you. Each topic being taught should be clarified. Focus on the basics first.

All the best!
