Since this question was asked months ago, I hope you have chosen the correct career path and might have taken admission in any college/Course and doing well with your studies.

According to me, Firstly, student should understand and analyse his/her skills and interest and  should choose the subject/course accordingly. Every student is talented in his/her own ways. Not everyone can become doctors, scientists, or crack competitive exams. Every student has different choice, capabilities, strengths  and weaknesses.

If you are sure and confident  in what you are doing or what you wish to pursue, you must share about your interest, your plans with your parents. Discuss with them about the course, its future scope.
