You have mentioned your category rank but you have not mentioned the name of your category exactly. If your category is ST then you will get easily almost any departments in any NIT's , if it is SC then you can miss top departments in topmost NIT's and if it is OBC or EWS then it will be of little difficulty for you to get CSE IT like branches it top most colleges like NITs . Although your chances of getting other departments in any NIT's . I am predicting your chances comparing with trends of previous years but cut off changes in every year.
