Hello there

There will be a total of 50 Questions in each subject.
The Question paper pattern is of Multiple choice questions( MCQ ),which applies for all 5 subjects.
The time duration for each subject will be of 60 minutes ( 1 Hour ).
The exam will be conducted on the shift basis , depends on the number of subjects you choose.

Best Of Luck

Dear aspirant !!

Hope you are doing well !!

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) assesses candidates across various subjects. Based on the subjects you've chosen—Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and the General Aptitude Test (GAT)—here's an overview of the exam structure:

CUET Exam Structure:

  1. Section I: Language Test

    • Subjects Offered: 13 languages, including English.
    • Format: Reading Comprehension based on passages—factual, literary, and narrative.
    • Duration: 60 minutes per language test.
    • Number of Questions: 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
    • Marking Scheme: +5 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark for each incorrect answer.
  2. Section II: Domain-Specific Subjects

    • Subjects Chosen: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
    • Format: 50 MCQs per subject.
    • Duration: 60 minutes per subject.
    • Marking Scheme: +5 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark for each incorrect answer.
  3. Section III: General Aptitude Test (GAT)

    • Format: Questions on Data Interpretation, Numerical Aptitude, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
    • Duration: 60 minutes.
    • Number of Questions: 50 MCQs.
    • Marking Scheme: +5 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark for each incorrect answer.

Preparation Tips:

  • Understand the Exam Pattern: Familiarize yourself with the structure and timing of each section.
  • Time Management: Allocate specific time slots for each subject during preparation.
  • Regular Practice: Solve previous years' question papers and take mock tests to build confidence.
  • Conceptual Clarity: Focus on understanding fundamental concepts rather than rote memorization.

For detailed syllabi and more information, refer to the official CUET syllabus provided by the National Testing Agency (NTA):

Good luck with your CUET preparations!

Hope it helps you
