Please don't go by placements, it totally depends on your interest of study .if you love finance ,go for it.

Well, it completely depends on your interest and in which field you wish to land up after your MBA. As far as placements and jobs are concerned there is an ample number of opportunities in both the field.

If you take up finance you may end up getting jobs in the areas like-

1)Sales

2)Marketing

3)Market Research

4)Marketing Strategy

5)Digital Marketing etc

However, taking up finance may land you in the areas like-

1)Investment Banking

2)Financial Analysis

3)Wealth Management

4)Equity Research 

5)Commercial Banking etc

So, my suggestion would be to take some time to identify your strengths and interests to help determine which field suits you.
