The eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Main is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. So if you fulfill the above mentioned eligibility criteria you can appear for JEE Main. It should be noted that you can appear for JEE Main for three consecutive year from the year of passing in the qualifying exam it means that if you have passed 10+2 or its equivalent in 2021 you can appear for JEE Main 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The minimum percentage requirement has been relaxed for admission in to NITs due to corona. This is applicable for JEE Main 2021. So you just need to pass in all the subjects in qualifying examination and JEE Main to be eligible to get seat in NIT. Earlier, candidates belonging to SC category must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 65% aggregate marks to get admission in to NITs but as said before the minimum percentage requirement has been relaxed.
