I would like to tell you that YES, your son will be eligible to be able to apply for the JEE mains examination from the next year at the time when he will be giving his class 12th board exams.
Please note that every candidates can appear for the JEE mains examination, 3 times only and JEE advance examination 2 times only.
Further, below are the eligibility criteria for JEE mains that your son need to fulfill to appear for JEE mains examination :
Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.
Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.
There is No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam.
B.E/B.Tech: Your son should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).
