hey dear I m preparing for neet 2023 and i m 12th passed I m facing a major problem in biology I prepared very well for test and everything is going fine but juts at the time of test i forget what i should how I can remember a thing long time?
See if you want to retain information for a long time, then Revision is the key. As Biology is a mixed Info & logical subject, you need to revise the information which are important. Now I would say, you should make short notes based on what you learn & which you think needed to be remembered. This will surely reduce your revision time & you can revise it daily. Also giving mock tests are also important. So try to appear for mock examination. This will give you a strong confidence level which will reduce the chances of forgetive behavior in the examination hall.

Hi
Biology is a subject in which you have to first understand the concept of different biological process, their mechanism etc and then remember it.
Follow the below tips for studying biology if you are not able to remember things in biology and and if you forget them in examination:-
-------------------------------) First of all go through the chapter well and focus on understanding the different process etc as you cannot remember something which you have not understood ,go thoroughly through NCERT Biology it is not less than a Bible for Neet. .
-------------------------------) Use techniques like mnemonics to remember things .
For example,
In your biology there is a chapter called cycle and it is difficult to remember the different stages of Mitosis, you can simply remember different stages of mitosis and their sequence by the mnemonics PMAT which means prophase, metaphase, anaphase ,telophase. Similarly you can make your own mnemonics to remember difficult things
-------------------------------) After completing each chapter go through questions of the same chapter, going through questions helps you a lot in understanding and grasping whatever you have learnt in the chapter
-------------------------------) There are many times when remembering things can be difficult but a picture or a diagram of the same makes it very easy , so you can take the help of diagrams
-------------------------------) Revise things again and again after regular intervals, for example read chapter then revise it next day then after week then after a month.
-------------------------------) once you are done with your complete syllabus go through previous year question papers and mock test papers :- it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination
