Hello,

Yes, you can cancel your admission after the 1st year and appear for MHT CET again, even if you had a TFWS seat in your current college. Many students choose to take a partial drop if they feel the college or branch they got isn't right for them. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind you’ll need to cancel your current admission officially through your college and possibly notify the university.

To get TFWS again, you must meet the income criteria and perform well in the next MHT CET, as TFWS seats are limited and competitive. Also, remember that you’ll have to start from 1st year again in the new college even if you complete the first year now.

Hope it will clear your doubt

Thank you!

  • You can give MHTCET again next year after first year
  • You can cancel your current admission but follow proper rules
  • Make sure to inform your college about leaving in written
  • If you cancel now you may lose fees paid in some cases
  • You can apply again for TFWS next year if income proof is valid
  • TFWS is given again if you qualify next year and meet cutoff
  • TFWS depends on rank and seat availability also
  • Try to get good score next year for better college chan
  • Keep backup plan ready if not get TFWS or desired branch
  • Speak to current college office for official process and documents

Hey Shreyash:)

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes,you can cancel your current admission after 1st year and reapper for MHT-CET and perform well, meet the income criteria,go through the CAP rounds,if your rank and seat availability match, you can secure a TFWS seat again in a better college.

Key factors to keep in mind:

You have to repeat 1st year, some colleges may  charge a penalty or ask for remaining fee for cancellation depending on their policy. Also TFWS seats are limited,so your selection will depend on your rank and seat availability.

Make sure to plan carefully as these steps involve risks especially,if you don't secure a better seat next time.

Hope this clears your query!
