See there are two undergraduate programs in Fashion Designing. One is B.Des in Fashion Designing and the other is BSc Fashion Designing. Now both the courses are open for any discipline or stream in 10+2. So it doesn't matter what stream you are in your 12th, the thing you need to focus is on the entrance examination.

So its suggested that you should take the stream in which you are interested in and then prepare for the entrance examination.

The top entrances are-

  • CEED
  • NID DAT
  • NIFT examination
  • IICD
  • IIAD
  • AIEED
  • UCEED

The top colleges for the field are-

  • NIFT Bangalore - National Institute of Fashion Technology
  • Visva Bharati University - Visva-Bharati
  • NIFT Chennai - National Institute of Fashion Technology
  • NIFT Hyderabad - National Institute of Fashion Technology
  • MSU Baroda - Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda
